Latex Care Guide
1. Cleaning after use
-
Rinse your latex garment in lukewarm water with a mild soap (no oils or fragrances).
-
Avoid any harsh or alcohol-based cleaners.
-
Rinse thoroughly until no soap remains.
2. Drying
-
Hang the garment inside out, away from sunlight and heat sources.
-
Let it dry completely before storing.
-
Never wring, tumble dry, or expose to direct heat.
3. Shine & dressing
-
Use silicone-based polish or spray to make your latex shine.
-
Avoid oils, body lotions, and oil-based lubricants — they damage latex.
-
To put it on easily, use a dressing aid (silicone or water-based lubricant).
4. Storage
-
Store your latex in a cool, dry, and dark place.
-
Keep it away from:
-
Metals (copper, brass, nickel) — they stain latex.
-
Colored fabrics or different latex colors — they can transfer.
-
-
Ideally, store each piece separately in a clear plastic bag or garment cover.
5. Precautions
-
Latex is sensitive to heat, light, and oils.
-
Avoid sharp jewelry or accessories that may scratch or puncture the surface.
-
Clean your garments regularly — sweat can degrade latex over time.
